Collaborating Partner Projects

International Health is collaborating partner in: DETERMINE. a project concerning social inequality.

The Final Conference of the Determine project was on the 25th March, 2010.

Apart from DETERMINE, we are also collaborating partner in the COMPHP project led by GNUI Galway, Ireland.  http://www.iuhpe.org/index.html?  page=614&lang=en#compHPprojectoverview

The CompHP Project aims to develop competency-based standards and an accreditation system for health promotion practice, education and training that will positively impact on workforce capacity to deliver public health improvement in Europe

Further Stephan van den Broucke participates as an expert in the evaluation work package of the GRADIENT project. Gradient is a 3 year project co-funded by DG Research through the Seventh Framework Programme, addressing health inequalities among families and children. WP2, led by the International Health Development Research Centre (IHDRC) at the University of Brighton, is developing a consensus-based European Evaluation Framework to monitor and evaluate public health policies and their impact on health determinants and the gradient that exists in health-related inequalities.
