WP 3: Evaluation of the project
WP leader: Maastricht University (UM)
An internal and external evaluation is conducted to inform the project partners and DG Sanco as the main stakeholder about the status and output of the project.
The internal evaluation is based on four questionnaires about the expectations and the satisfaction of the project partners. The first questionnaire is placed at the beginning of the project and has started after the kick off meeting. The next questionnaires are planned at the end of the first, second and third year.
Additionally the work package leaders are asked to write every three month short reports about the activities and the status concerning “their” work packages. The short reports will allow to monitor if activity and output indicators are (probably) met, if the utilization of financial and personal resources is in line with the course of the project, if unexpected challenges and conflicts emerge and if respective action has to be taken.
The external evaluation is planned to be conducted by specialists for cross border activities, Health Technology Assessment and legal issues. The external evaluation will not only look at activity and outcome indicators but also focus on the quality of the project output.
The findings of the internal and external evaluation will be documented in the interim report and the final report.
