Joint Venture on health literacy
The Joint Venture on health literacy is an initiative in cooperation with CSR Europe and companies focusing on introducing health literacy as a topic for corporate social responsibility. The Department of International Health, Maastricht University is involved as partner in the steering group with Nestlé, MSD and Microsoft. More companies have joined the venture as members.
The initiative is launched at CSR Europe's 2020 event 28th October 2010 in Brussels.
The Joint Venture on health literacy has as objective to develop a business case with a blue print for best practices in order for businesses and companies to adopt health literacy to their corporate social responsibility strategy.
